Guy Martin’s race debut in the Caterham R300 at Silverstone

Guy Martin as the guest driver had a baptism of fire on 4 wheels. Unable to test on the friday he learnt the car and track during qualifying always finding more speed. He qualified last but made up some places during the race before a couple of spins dropped him back. Race 2 Guy didn’t make it past the first corner taking avoiding action of other cars tangling he took off the front corner. Top bloke for giving it a go and stating the obvious for sure he would of been up there with more time. Thanks for taking the time to come and be part of the Caterham family.

About Paul Wilson

Having a father who raced and a passion for motorsport it was always an ambition to go racing at some point in my life. In my twenties I raced Motocross and Enduro with some success, but I moved onto 4 wheels in 2008 and have not looked back. 2014 will be with Aston Martin Racing in the Vantage GT3 at the VLN with Stuart Leonard. When I'm not racing, I generally spend my time working out how to go quicker and how I'm going to pay for it all......
